Sharpening instructions for knives

The FIX knife sharpener is held in one hand. The cutting edge of the knife to be sharpened is pulled through the open, crossing bars - with slight pressure - from front to back. The process can be repeated several times until the knife is sharp again. Can also be used for wave and saw knives.

Sharpening instructions for scissors

Open the scissors, then place one of the two cutting edges with the narrow grinding surface on the sharpening rod. Using light pressure, pull the scissors back and forth on the rod. A burr appears on the inside of the scissors. Closing the scissors removes the burr. The same process is repeated with the second scissor blade and the scissors are sharp again.
