A pair of modeling scissors has one blade that is serrated on one side and the other is smooth. About half of the hair is thinned out with these scissors. Depending on the thickness of the hair, the thinning effect may or may not be desirable.

These scissors come in different tooth widths. The wider the teeth, the less hair is removed. The scissors are available in different shapes and designs and with different eyes, which are very suitable for large hands with strong or narrow fingers.
